STUART AND JAYNE LOUGHLAND - THE PRODUCERS



Stuart has been involved professionally with the entertainment industry over the past 34 years as an Actor, Singer , Dancer, followed by his 10 year career in the music industry with numerous recording bands and then on to appear as half of the successful illusion act Safire. It was during the latter years in Safire that he discovered his flair for production and is proud to have put on so many different styles of shows over the past number of years. He has worked extensively all over the world and has a vast amount of experience and an extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry having been involved with so many different aspects of it.



Jayne started her career with her brother at the age of 12. They performed in a Magic and Illusion act called "Marc and Jayne". Amongst numourous main stream TV appearances they travelled the world entertaining on top cruise lines, cabaret and even performed for Royalty.
They were both honoured to perform in a Royal Gala for Prince Ranier, Prince Albert and Princess Caroline of Monoco.
Jayne now forms the other half of Safire and continues to tour the World with appearances at top venues in Europe and the USA including Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
She now enjoys producing shows with her main interest being in Wardrobe and quality costumes and feels her success in this area is due to her meticulous attention to detail.

ANDY PARISH - TECHNICAL PRODUCTION MANAGER.




Andy, or simply Parish as he is better known, started his professional career at The Hawth Theatre in Crawley aged just 15, where he got great practical experience and knowledge of all aspects of technical theatre, lighting and sound. He then went on to study a Diploma of Higher Education in Stage Management and Technical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting. Whilst studying he started working freelance and got to work in an even wider spectrum of the industry, both at indoor and outdoor venues. Upon completing his diploma he went straight into work on a Spiderman Stunt Show at Thorpe Park for Qdos Entertainment.
The following year he toured nationwide with the award winning show “The Play What I Wrote”, and enjoyed every minute of it! Since then he has continued touring with various shows, visiting most theatres across the UK, as well as some in Spain and Germany. Parish has 9 years experience in pantomime, working on productions for Qdos entertainment, G.A.P.S., International Artistes, Stage Door Productions (Spain), and Duggie Chapman Associates. Parish has also worked on several of London’s West End productions, the most recent being Disney’s “High School Musical” at the Hammersmith Apollo.




SAFIRE ILLUSIONISTS



Stuart and Jayne Safire are an award winning act. Since their inception hard work and enthusiasm has produced a breathtaking but amusing live show making them in great demand and gaining them the reputation as being one of the finest illusion acts in the country. Recently they won the title of The Most Entertaining Magical Act in the UK and were honoured to became Members of The Inner Magic Circle.

Not only have Safire established themselves in the UK but have been fortunate enough to break through to success in the U.S.A some highlights of their career being to receive an invitation from world famous illusionists Siegfried and Roy to appear in their World Magic Show at the renowned Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas and also performing at the 20th Century Fox Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. When in Germany they were honoured to perform before Prince Luitipold of Bavaria and most recently in a Royal Variety Performance in the presence of HRH The Duke of Kent at The Prince of Wales Theatre in London’s West End appearing alongside Bradley Walsh, Claire Sweeney, Paul Zerdin, John Maloney, The Christians, Joe Tracini and leading cast members from London’s top musicals Hairspray, Wicked, Grease and Chicago.

Performing at the largest theatres throughout the UK has given them the experience of performing with some of the top names in show business including Peter Kay, Ken Dodd, Jimmy Tarbuck, Richard Branson, Ricky Tomlinson, Billy Pearce, Cannon and Ball, Kim Wilde, Keith Harris , Freddie Starr, Danny La Rue, Wayne Dobson, Rory Bremner, Frank Carson, Jimmy Cricket, Phil Cool, Bobby Davro, The Grumbleweeds and have recently for the sixth time just finished touring UK theatres with BBC’s Chuckle Brothers.

TV appearances have included Children’s ITV, Sooty, Talk of the Town and The Pyjama Party with Claudia Winkleman. They also have appeared on Granada TV’s Christmas Special with Noddy Holder and the cast of Coronation Street and three Chuckle Brothers DVD’s.
Performing Close Up table magic and large scale illusions Safire’s corporate clients include Virgin, Barclaycard, Channel 4, Sky TV, Nat West, BUPA, Hilton, Jaguar and Mercedes where not only did they perform their act but actually appeared the car in the Showroom !
Stuart and Jayne also work as Illusion Consultants for Stage and TV.



THE MAGIC LIGHT PUPPET COMPANY.

All of the above performers form The Magic Light Puppet Company. They have a diversity of skills which enable them to operate not only Marionettes and Hand puppets but in the Chuckle Brothers Theatre productions specialize mainly in UV and Black Art using puppets that range from 3 foot hand puppets up to 9 foot full body costumes.

The puppets are not only performed by them but are designed and constructed by Stuart and Jayne in their puppet workshop and studio.


They have performed with their puppets extensively in UK Theatres over the past 5 years mainly in top UK Theatre touring shows, Variety, Musicals and Pantomimes.

They also specialize in custom made characters having made and designed puppets for QDOS Entertainments, PMA, Duggie Chapman Associates, Tony Peers Productions, Mad About Productions Ltd, Danny La Rue Summer Season at The Pavilion Theatre Blackpool, Joe Pasquale's Rentaghost, Ghostly Productions, The Ken Dodd Laughter Show and have recently supplied 7 themed UV sequences for various Pantomime Productions over the 2008 Christmas period.


The UV show puppets and Heidi the little girl ghost puppet can also be seen on The Chuckle Brothers DVD "Spooky Goings On" and the UV Barry and Paul puppets on the last "Indiana Chuckle" DVD.

Their puppets are sold worldwide mainly through this website
and past commissions have been sent to the USA, Japan, Australia and all over Europe.


When performing some of their larger UV shows Stuart and Jayne are assisted by Andy Parish, Hayley Green and Shaun Crawley. In various teams they have operated the puppets on The Chuckle Brothers Spooky Goings On, Indiana Chuckle, their Christmas 2007 Aladdin tour, the current Chuckle Trek and has also performed in numerous Variety Shows around the UK including the International Brotherhood of Magicians Show in Eastbourne.

The Magic Light Puppets are proud to be booked to appear in The Magic Circle Show at their Theatre in their headquarters in London over the Christmas period.
